ACC covers everyone in New Zealand who is injured in an accident including physical injury such as sprains or strains, wounds, burns, fractures and so on. The scheme applies to children, beneficiaries, students, and anyone who is working, unemployed, or retired. It also covers visitors to New Zealand who is injured while visiting.

The cost of the acupuncture treatments was covered by ACC; the only extra charge is $10-$20 per treatment. If you have an ACC claim number, bring it with you when you visit us. It is valid for 12 weeks after your injury, but if you don’t have one, our physio can assist you to get a diagnosis and apply an ACC number for you.
