Cristina Zhang, a member of Acupuncture NZ and is registered ACC provider acupuncturist, acquired her master’s degree from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After completing her eight years of university study, he spent 12 years working in 3 large hospitals in China. She is experienced in using acupuncture to treat different types of pain, limb dysfunction, and visceral dysfunction because she has a strong professional background and a lot of clinical experience. She always said that because more than 90% of human diseases originate in the soft tissue layer, including various visceral diseases and even tumours, acupuncture and massage can alleviate and cure the majority of human diseases. Our patient Jack is a good example. he has movement disorder of the shoulder joint after lifting heavy objects, when it is severe, he is unable to comb his hair or lift heavy objects. Dr Zhang used acupuncture and electroacupuncture from traditional Chinese medicine to relax the muscles around the shoulder joint and improve the surrounding blood supply. The function was fully restored after 5 treatments. Miss Ally from Indonesia also suffers from long-term menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea. Following a physical examination, Dr Zhang considers the visceral dysfunction brought on by the tense of abdominal muscles, after relaxing the tense muscles and fascia tissues in the abdominal muscles and groins, Miss Ally’s menstrual cycle returns to normal, and the dysmenorrhea goes away.

Crystal Lu is a qualified ACC-registered acupuncturist who graduated from the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and TCM with a four-year bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a major in Acupuncture. She has a rich knowledge foundation in treating patients with a variety of problems, including not just accidental injury but also internal diseases such as insomnia, menopause, and menstrual discomfort. She could frequently explain TCM terminology in English because she studied systemic TCM in New Zealand. There have been some successful cases under her care, such as one patient with carpal tunnel syndrome who was unable to hold things with his hands. His wrist got significantly more flexible with greater motions after a few treatments. The pain was totally relieved at the end of the 10th treatment. Another patient had dysmenorrhea for many years, but after 9 treatment sessions, the pain was reduced by up to 90%. Then, for the acute arm muscle sprain, she only used a few acupuncture needles to totally cure the discomfort.

She can provide the greatest patience to the patient, and make sure they are treated with safety, respect and fairly. While she is aware that acupuncture is not the only method used during treatment, she is perfectly fine with providing tuina, cupping, and moxa dependent on the patient’s condition and demand. Finally, she is pleased to offer her strength to alleviate the patient’s concerns.

Lisa Li, worked in a large rehabilitation institution in China for 20 years, specializing in foot massage, massage treatment of general and local pain and dysfunction, gentle and penetrating action, and remarkable therapeutic effect. For example, one Italian patient was trampled on the back of his foot by his opponent when boxing and was unable to walk normally. Lisa used the principle of foot acupoint and meridian massage after 2 months of treatment to restore 80% in the first session and 100% in the next. Similarly, Jenny, a patient with shoulder pain and numb fingers, had been working at a desk for a long time, and her incorrect posture had caused obvious tension in her scalenus muscle and chest muscle. Jenny was given cupping therapy and a muscle fixed point massage. after treatment, her symptoms had subsided and even disappear after whole sessions.
